Refund Policy
The short version: try it free for 14 days without a card, cancel in one click whenever you want, and if you paid for something you didn’t get to use, email us and we’ll make it right. The rest of this page is the detail behind that.
1. Try before you pay
Every organization gets a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Nothing is charged during the trial and nothing renews automatically out of it — you choose a plan when you are ready. That is deliberate: the trial, not the refund process, is how you find out whether Iron Standard fits your program.
2. What you are paying for
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29/mo | $290/yr |
| Pro | $79/mo | $790/yr |
| Elite | $149/mo | $1490/yr |
Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe.
3. Cancelling
Cancel any time from Settings → Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal. There is no cancellation fee, no phone call, and no retention script.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, then stops renewing. Your data is not deleted when a subscription lapses — export it any time (CSV export is included on every plan), or email us to have the account deleted.
4. When we refund
- First charge on a monthly plan. If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid charge and the plan wasn’t what you expected, email us and we’ll refund that charge in full.
- Annual plans. Cancel within 30 days of an annual charge and we refund the unused portion, pro rata by whole months.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges. Refunded in full, always — including a renewal you told us you were cancelling before it ran.
- Extended outage or a feature we broke. If the platform was unusable for a meaningful stretch of a billing period, tell us and we’ll credit or refund that period. We would rather do that than argue about it.
5. What we don't refund
- Months you already used. Renewals after the first charge are not refunded for time already served — cancel before the renewal date and you are not billed again.
- Partial months on monthly plans. Cancelling mid-cycle keeps your access until the period ends rather than refunding the remainder.
- Anthropic API usage. AI features on Elite run on your own Anthropic key and bill to your Anthropic account. We never receive that money and cannot refund it.
- Accounts terminated for a serious violation of the acceptable-use terms.
6. Upgrades and downgrades
Changing plans mid-cycle is prorated by Stripe: an upgrade bills the difference immediately for the rest of the period, and a downgrade credits the unused difference against your next invoice. Downgrading can put you over the new plan’s limits — for example the Starter caps of 30 athletes and 2 coach seats — so check your roster before you switch.
7. How to request a refund
Email victor.brankovich1@gmail.com from the address on the account and include:
- Your organization name.
- The charge date and amount (or the Stripe invoice number).
- One line on what went wrong — it helps us fix the cause.
We aim to reply within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
8. Chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your statement, please email us before filing a chargeback — a dispute freezes the account while the bank investigates, and we can almost always resolve it faster ourselves.
